Binghamton Indoor v NW Swift Win (5-1)

GREAT games this weekend, maybe the best I have seen from you yet. Both games were played at a level that was head and shoulders above the competition. Your passing and first touch were exceptional. Off the ball movement kept the other teams wondering where the attacking players were coming from. It was obvious that they were confused about the players attacking from the back line. Defensively you controlled the center of the pitch keeping almost all of their attacking plays well out of the box. Marking attacking players and tracking their runs beat them both physically and mentally. Also, your runs from the backfield were top notch. Great runs forward and outstanding speed to get back to defend. Up front there was a real calmness to your plays. Heads up looking for runs and great give and goes. 4 shots hit the posts in the first game and 4 more in the second game. Make sure that your conditioning is a priority during the week, you ran both teams into the dirt!

2-27-10 Matrix V Binghamton (3-1)

Great game.....3-0-0 playing in the U16 bracket, a good start to your season. I was very pleased with your performance, good passing, good movement, and everybody was working hard. If the goal had been 6 inches wider the score would have been 7-1 as many shots were just outside the post (a couple hit the woodwork). Shots on goal is always a good indicator of ball and player movement. We still have alot of work to do this year but if you continue to work hard you will have another excellent season. You are really becomming a team, playing together, supporting each other and celebrating in your successes. Keep up the hard work and I look forward to the next practice. Remember to do something physical during the week and keep a ball at your feet.
